St. Karapet monastery of Mush was one of the most well known and oldest in Western Armenia. It was considered as the 2nd biggest spiritual center after Echmiadzin. This monastery complex included a whole set of churches and chapels. For ages it served as an educational, writing and cultural center until its destruction in the early 20th century. Inspired by its eminence and distinction, ornaments of remained pieces were used in this work.
