Embroidery is one of the traditional handicrafts that has been part of centuries-old Armenian cultural identity along with carpet weaving, miniature painting, and stone carving. This scarf is inspired by these intricately and elaborately produced artifacts typical of Armenian handwork. Prayers of Gregory of Narek, signifying healing and protection, illustrated in manuscripts, a portion of traditional carpet ornaments, and the Armenian alphabet come in support to this design.
This scarf is made of chiffon.
