Nahapet Kuchak is considered the author of a significant portion of the hayrens - short
lyrical poems - of medieval Armenian folk and gusan poetry. The themes of his hayrens include love, joy, exile, peace, and more. This work includes selected excerpts from Kuchak’s hayrens.
