Armenia is often referred as the "stone country" for its mountainous terrain. The topography of the country dually influenced its distinctive architecture and the stone carving tradition. Robust and monumental, as the mountains of architecture and the innumerable cross-stones.
Our inspiration for this composition was derived from the elaborate patterns of leaves, grapes, and ornaments found in stone carvings that ornate Armenian architectural monuments and cross stones.
